my SO that I knew I wouldn't see many people with if any at all, and when I saw this one I knew my search was over! Being the queen of procrastination I didn't place my order until 12/20/23 yeah I know LOL and the website did specify it wouldn't arrive until after Christmas, which was ok because as long as it arrived before his birthday 1/5, I was ok with it. I would like to thank the NYC Jackets team because their communication with me through the process of getting my order was awesome!! They reached out to make sure I chose the correct size, kept me posted on shipping and provided my tracking number in a timely manner. When I had a question they were prompt with a response, and even calmed my anxiety and assured me it would arrive before his birthday and guess what...it arrived TODAY!! (1/3) and I'm so glad that I get to leave my review. This jacket is not only nice on the website, it is DOPE IN REAL LIFE!! The quality of this jacket is everything that I hoped it would be, it is heavy and fit him perfectly and his smile said it all and I knew I made the perfect choice when he tried it on. a jacket of this style. I inspected it thoroughly and found no flaws in the stitching, zippers, or the material. The zippers can be a but finicky to get started, but no more so than most, and after a few tries both the zipper for the inner liner and the jacket itself gave me no problems. As it turned out I received this just in time for our first cold snap and was able to try it out the next day in 34 degree weather. It did well in keeping me warm enough but it probably would not be sufficient in much lower temperatures without additional thermal undergarments. The only problem is it seems to run about one size smaller than other coats I own. While an XL usually fits me well this one is a little tight, but still wearable. I do recommend it but I strongly suggest ordering a size larger than you normally wear.
