I'm not sure it was worth paying the extra $$ for the 100% real leather; I expected it to be made from a heavier material than it would be with the PU, but it's pretty light. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I'd recommend this jacket and this company.

a jacket of this style. I inspected it thoroughly and found no flaws in the stitching, zippers, or the material. The zippers can be a but finicky to get started, but no more so than most, and after a few tries both the zipper for the inner liner and the jacket itself gave me no problems. As it turned out I received this just in time for our first cold snap and was able to try it out the next day in 34 degree weather. It did well in keeping me warm enough but it probably would not be sufficient in much lower temperatures without additional thermal undergarments. The only problem is it seems to run about one size smaller than other coats I own. While an XL usually fits me well this one is a little tight, but still wearable. I do recommend it but I strongly suggest ordering a size larger than you normally wear.
